Macao Cultural Centre Children¡¯s Choir

Founded in 2004, The Macao Cultural Centre Children¡¯s Choir is established to provide quality music education to children aged from 8 to 16. Weekly musical training will be offered by our Music Director, Ms Vanessa Leo, a distinguished and experienced music educator. Through weekly choral practices, music appreciation and creative activities, choir members will develop their interests and talents in music, as well as their interpersonal skills and sensitivity to appreciate art. The Choir has performed and attended numerous performances and cultural exchange activities including ¡°Les Choristes¡± concert collaboration with Saint-Marc¡¯s Children¡¯s Choir (Lyon, France), ¡°Hong Kong Sinfonietta x McDull¡± and various other invitations such as to perform in the yearly ¡°Christmas and New Year Lighting Ceremony¡± organized by IACM (Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau of Macao). The CCM Children¡¯s Choir has also sung in Macao Orchestra¡¯s ¡°Open Air Concert¡± in 2008 and has appeared in the ¡°Sport and Cultural Performance¡± held in Macao on the 2009 national day.
